After a lifetime in the Power Transmissions industry and over 20 years as Managing Director of Drive Lines Technologies Ltd, Bob Clark is finally stepping down from daily involvement in Drive Lines to enjoy a well deserved (semi) retirement.

Bob leaves in place a thriving, well respected company distributing power transmission and linear motion products to the UK and Ireland from some of the world’s leading manufacturers.  Bob will remain as MD and owner, but the company will now move forward under Ian Carr, who now adopts the role of General Manager.  Ian joined Drive Lines in 2008 in an Internal Sales role, progressing to Business Manager in 2009.

However, Bob will still retain an interest in activities and will continue part time, in the short to medium term concentrating on the Wandres micro-cleaning business facet of Drive Lines product range.

‘I would like to thank Bob for this opportunity, and look forward to driving the company forward’, says Ian.  ‘We have a great range of products and excellent staff.  We know the market expects ever increasing levels of service and value for money products, and I believe we are in a strong position to meet these needs. This year we shall be expanding our product portfolio and support staff and will be looking at ways to provide even better cost effective solutions to our customers new and old’.
